A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT AND BUFFALO GROVE ROTARY CLUB FOR THE
2024 BG DAYS EVENT
WHEREAS the Village of Buffalo Grove is a home rule unit pursuant to the
Illinois Constitution of 1970; and
WHEREAS Buffalo Grove Days is a community ea�ent planned annually each
year over the Labor Day weekend ("BG Days"),which is sponsored and presented by
the Village of Buffalo Grove ("Village") and Buffalo Grove Park District ("Park District");
and
WHEREAS the Village and Park District designate the responsibility for
promotion and execution of the Bingo event, Duck Race and Informational Booth at ',
BG Days to the BufFalo Grove Rotary ("Rotary") subject the terms outlined in the '�
attached agreement. �
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois as follows:
SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are hereby adopted and incorporated and made a
part of this Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2. The Village Manager is authorized to execute the agreement with the
Park District and Rotary.
SECTION 3. If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Resolution shall be '
held invalid,the invalidity thereof shall not affect any other provision of this
Resolution.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval and not be codified.
