The Village Board
of Buffalo Grove.
Gentlmen;
On March 22 1962 The Plan Commission had a joint meeting with the
Village Board and certain property owners considering annexattaon
to the Village of Buffalo atrove. The meeting was held at the Alcott
School . The property discussedlays North of the Lake County line,
East to Milwaukee ave. and beyond. The Petitioners submitted a
preli.manary shetch showing land area and zoning desired by the
Petitioners .
The Plan Commission after due consideration feels that even
thou the requested zoning is somewhat in line with the Master Plan /4"
The Commission thinking�.a we feel that at the present time we
should not annex thi s. /,�4fert4 The reasons being that the area to be developed first would be
such a great distance mom the now existing Village, that the funds
necassary to provide standard basic urban service is not avaible.
In order that the land area be contiguous a certain peice of
'property would have to be annexed by a court suit procedure against
the landowners wish. The Plan Cor,rais ion feels t.ie cost involved
in such a suit would not be in the best intrest of the Village.
