Special hearing called to order at 5:30 P.M. The commission dis-
cussed among themselves the netition for anne.x<:tion and zoning of the
Taggert property on the northeast corner of Buffalo GrovefRoad and Dundee
Road. Mr. Taggert presented a netition for annexation, a Petition for a
zoning classification of B-)4. Noone representing Taggert attended this
meeting. The plan presented to the comJission/}is was for a gas station

on the corner and at least two office or ? buildings on the same
property. The commission asked Chuck Swanson, as a representative of the
public, what his views were on the proposed gas station. Mr. Swanson said
he ha' no objections to the gas station as long as the area adjacent to it
was not turned into hot dog stands, Miry ^ueens, etc. The commission felt
thaturther study of the petitions should be made at the next regular
meeting when more of the commission memcers will be present.
Special meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.

the proposed bridle path. The commission was not 'll favor of his
proposal at this time because of the cost of laying out the paths
and cindering then, and the low population of horses in the area.

second it. All in favor except George Krug who could not make
that meeting.

Meeting called to order at 9:15 2.M.
George Krug made the motion to accept the December 6 and December 12
minutes as submitted. Ken Lewis second it. All in favor.
Ken Lewis made a report on the Industrial Comnitteet Since the area
along Dundee Road north of Buffalo Grove Road is not in the jurisdiction
of the Inuustrial Committee, they felt no action was necessary.
Edward Faoish reported no progress on the Procedures Committee Re-
port; but promised an outline report at the next regular meeting.
George Krug' s letter to the Village Board in regard to unit 7 was
presented to the commission. All members 1,/Y%/i found it very complete
and to the point and comi:,ended George on it.
Village President William Farrington had asked the commission for
an approxmate estimate of expenditures the commission e pects to under-
take in the following year. All the commission could think of in e.pendi-
tures was: $100 for postage, ordinance publications and maps; 1100 for re -
payment of loss of salaries due to the attendance of some of the commission
members at some public hearings during a working da work shop meeting

was proposed for January 13 at 5:00 P.M. for the preparation' of&ough
drafts outline for the revision of the present zoning ordinances.
Edward Faoish made the motion to adjourn. George Krug second it.
All in favor. Meeting adjourned at 9:55 P.M.
