Finnegan The meeting was called to order at 8:20 P.M. by E. Fabish. As requested by the Buffalo Utility Company, the public hearing scheduled for this evening regarding the two lift stations is again postponed until July 19, 1967. Mr. Bud Hilpert of Regal Art Corporation (representing the Torelli Gallery) was present requesting a temporary variation of the building code. The request was for the erection of a 20 x 20 foot "Circus" type tent to be used for the display of paintings. The purpose being to find out if there was interest in this type of business going into the vacant store in the Ranch Mart. The location of the tent is to be on the East lawn of the Brunswick bowling lanes. The tent is to be a canopy during the day and closed in at night. There is to be a night watchman. Mr. Hilpert assured the plan commission that he has procured $100,000 worth of liability insurance coverage. The tent is to be used for the period of July 1, to August 31, 1967. This period is thought to be sufficient time to determine the marketability for paintings in Buffalo Grove. The thought being to rent the vacant store in the Ranch Mart.
