PUBLIC HEARING
Attendance : E. Fabish, I. Moore, R. Axen, H. Cimaglio, N. Dobbin,
A. Stasal
The meeting was called to order at 8:11 P.M. by acting chairman
E. Fabish.
The adjourned public hearing was held regarding the special
use permits for the Buffalo Utility lift stations located
both at the corner of Golfview Terrace and Buffalo Grove Road
and also in the Cambridge subdivision. Again, no representatives
from the Buffalo Utility Company were present.
Because no representatives of the utility company have attended
the public hearings, it was decided to proceed without them
as permitted in the Zoning Ordinances.
There were a couple of objections from the members after looking
at the plans for the lift station, but it was decided that
there was not enough technical knowledge available to make
a sound judgement.
Ray Axen moved that the Village Board deny the special use permit
for the lift stations located at Golfview Terrace and Buffalo
Grove Road and also in the Cambridge Subdivision. These
units were installed without any effort to comply with Article VI
of the Buffalo Grove Zoning Ordinance. It is also recommended
that the Village Board enforce Article XIX of the Buffalo Grove
Zoning Ordinance as ammended in ordinance 66-3.
E. Fabish seconded. All in favor.
I. Moore moved to adjourn. R. Axen seconded. All in favor.
