Chairman Carl Genrich called the meeting to order at 8 : 25 p.m . ,
March 6 , 19744 in the Municipal Building, 50 Raupp Boulevard .

Approval of Minutes
Commissioner Mendenhall motioned to approve the minutes of
February 20 , 1974 and Commissioner Keister seconded the motion .
There being no corrections or additions , the motion carried.
Commissioner Harris abstained.
Chesterfield - Arrowhead
The Plan Commission discussed the Chesterfield Arrowhead Development
with Mr. Bi.1l Balling. The most recent action taken on this develop-
ment by the Plan Commission occurred on July 11. , 1973 . The Plan
Commission interprets that the Board, after July 11 , 1973, revised
the preliminary development plan by allowing a revision in the
rear setback requirements . The Plan Commission is in agreement
that this development still has to adhere to the final plat require-
ments of the Subdivision Ordinance . A report will be sent to the
Board concerning this development.
Chesterfield - Indianhead (Bugner Farm)
Mr. Bill Balling gave a report on the Bugner :?arm Development . A
total of 466 units are proposed . The bottom third of the proposed
I'I development area is zoned for multiple family housing and the
remainder will require a zoning change . The developer will be
meeting with the Zoning Board of Appeals on March 28, 1974 and
the Plan Commission of Lake County on March 19, 1974. The gross
density of this project is 10 . 3.
The developer has offered School District 102 834, 950, representing
075 per town home . The cash donation as per Resolution 72-35

utilizing ICSC figures as of January 1, 1974 would be : 156 , 762
to School District 102 (. 336 per town home ) and .i49,291 due to
School District 125 ( ' 105 per town home) .
Dundee Road Landscaping
Mr. Balling reported it was decided at the Appearance Commission
meeting that the Appearance Commission would make a list of trees
suitable for the purpose of landscaping a median strip on Dundee
Road and this information would be sent to Mr. Dan Larson. This
data will include type and spacing of trees .
Plan Commission Reappointments
Chairman Genrich stated Commissioner Gamm ' s appointment to the
Plan Commission had expired and asked for a motion for his reappoint-
ment. Commissioner Mendenhall motioned that Commissioner Gam be
reappointed to the Plan Commission and Commissioner Keister seconded
the motion. The motion was unanimously carried.
Chairman Genrich stated Commissioner Shields ' and Commissioner
Keister ' s appointments to the Plan Commission had also expired.
Commissioner Mendenhall motioned that they be reappointed and
Commissioner Harris seconded the motion . The motion was unanimously
carried .
Correspondence
Chairman Genrich reported on a letter received from the Buffalo
Grove Disposal Company, Inc . , stating there would be an additional
cost of operation if the Browning-Ferris proposed landfill did not
go through. The letter was given to Commissioner Shields .
The Plan Commission received copies of letters dated February 22 , 1974
and February 25, 1974 sent to all sake County Village Boards , Plan
Commissions and Village Administrators soliciting Village cooperation
in supplying information to various Lake County officials to facili-
tate County review of significant developments being undertaken within
Village limits . The Buffalo Grove Plan Commission will consider
compliance or non-compliance with these policies to be a matter of
action by the Village administration .and not the Plan Commission per
se.
Model Annexation Agreement
Commissioner Harris inquired if a model annexation agreement had
ever been finalized. Chairman Genrich stated this had not been done
and asked Commissioner Harris if he would handle developing e model
annexation agreement to give to developers when they come before
Plan Commission

the Plan Commission. Commissioners Shields and Gamm agreed to
serve on this committee with Commissioner Harris serving as
Chairman. The committee agreed to have this information available
by approximately the April 3, 1974 meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 9 : 17 p.m. .
