BUFFALO GROVE PLAN COMMISSION
October 9, 1974
Chairman Carl Genrich called the meeting to order at 8 : 14 p.m. ,
October 9, 1974, in the Municipal Building, 50 Raupp Blvd. .

Mr. Shields
Mr. Mendenhall
Commissioners Absent : Mr. Harris
Also Present : Mr. Rodney Jacobs
Mr. Edward Mashek, Jr.
Prospective Members
Chairman Genrich stated Mr. Rodney Jacobs was attending his
second meeting as a prospective member of the Plan Commission
and Mr. Edward Mashek, Jr. , was attending his first meeting as
a prospective member of the Plan Commission.
Proposed Zoning Ordinance Changes
Commissioner Haarr reviewed his proposed zoning ordinance
changes dated July 10, 1974 with the Commission. Comments and
discussion followed and a revised list of the recommended changes
will be distributed to Commission members .
After further rewriting of recommended changes has been completed
by Commissioners Gamm, Goldspiel and Haarr, the Plan Commission
will review this information further in Workshop Session on October 16.
Standard Annexation Agreement
Chairman Genrich stated discussion on the Standard Annexation
Agreement which was on the agenda this evening is postponed
until Commissioner Harris is present .
Chairman Genrich distributed copies of a proposed recommendation
to be included in the Standard Annexation Agreement. This item
will be discussed again in Workshop Session on October 16 .
Plan Commission Size
Chairman Genrich stated at the Village Board meeting of October 7 ,

the motion was carried to decrease the number of Plan Commission
members from 11 to 9. This motion was carried by a 4 to 2 vote.
Lake-Cook Road Landscape Plan
The Plan Commission reviewed a copy of the proposed Lake-Cook
Road Landscape Plan submitted by Bill Balling.
The meeting adjourned at 10:39 p.m. .
