MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 50 RAUPP BOULEVARD,
BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2015
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Board Member David Morton

New Business
EMA Repeater
Now on generator circuit at Sta.26
Spare VHF Portable at EOC
Mobilecomm Radio Issue
VHF radio in cab-PL problem, Bruce D. To replace and repair.
ITECS4 Update
Paul Z. Attended ITECS training/cooperative regional use to be explored.
Saturday 10/10/15 BG EMA Trainingt Session
Good review of equipment and set-up.
More sessions needed during the year to stay current and familiar.
Will-Burt Mast Maintenance Update
Larry S. and Dave M. will drive Mobilecomm to Orville, OH 11/3-6
Central Garage to complete routine maintenance prior to trip.
EMA pcard limit has been increased to$1500.
Paul Z. will be duty officer during Mobilecomm absence.
Chief Baker to notify NWCD and BGFD.
Uniform Update
Unique Apparel will be the vendor for all EMA(CERT and Mobilecomm) uniform needs.

Fire Department Report
BG Days/Sheltering capacity-Joe W. And Chief Baker met with Mike Reynolds and BG Park Dist
personnel to assess potential sheltering capacities.
CERT- Congratulations on the third place finish in the state wide competition.
Volunteer liability-Question raised as to the Village policy for volunteer coverage when
completing assignments.
1. 2016 Budget
EMA will become part of the FD budget.
