MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ARTS COMMISSION OF THE VILLAGE OF
BUFFALO GROVE HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 50 RAUPP BOULEVARD, BUFFALO
GROVE, ILLINOIS ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 2018
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman Elliott Hartstein
Approval of Minutes
Old Business
A. Subcommittee Update
Staff will provide Committee Member Weissman with the contact information for those
interested in planning the event.
B. Communications Update
Staff provided an update on the Communications Policy and methods to publicize
commission events.
New Business
A. Banner Contest Update
The commission directed staff to take the required measures to create the contest. Staff
will keep the commission apprised on the planning process.
B. Farmers Market Update
The commission discussed the possibility of holding an arts day in conjunction with the
Farmers Market. The commission tabled the discussion until closer to the summer.
Village Report
Staff provided an update on the upcoming band concert
