A. Events Contractor Update
Staff is still waiting on final year end budget numbers to be finalized.
B. Landscaping Contest Recap
Landscaping contest went well, with the winners being announced at BG Days. The
contest is good but may need to be reinvented in future years.
C. Discussion on Sculpture Garden
Chairman Hartstein spoke with Ryan Reisinger regarding possible locations for a
sculpture garden.
New Business
A. Halloween Decorating Contest
The commission formally approved of the change in meeting date to accommodate more
time for facilitating the decorating contest.
B. Enterprise Calendar Art Event Discussion
The commission will judge the work on October 22nd at 9:00am. Commissioner will
coordinate with Lynne Schneider to volunteer as a judge. The reception to honor the
winners will be held on November 17th.

A. Halloween Decorating Contest
The commission requested that staff place a slide on Channel Six as well as have the
Public Works Department create a sign for the corner of Raupp Blvd.
B. Arts Calendar
The judging for the Arts Calendar will take place on the 22nd at American Enterprise
Bank. The reception will be on 11/17 at 6pm.

A. Open Discussion for Brainstorming
This item we deferred until the next meeting.
