PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for annexation
with zoning in the R-3 One-Family Dwelling District and approval of
a Preliminary Plan with the following variation: DEVELOPMENT
ORDINANCE - Section 17 .50 . 070 .D.2 (to allow a right-of-way width of
50 feet instead of 60 feet for a local street) .
The Preliminary Plan proposes 7 single-family lots.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 2 . 6-acre
tract on the west side of Prairie Road east of the Carlyle
Subdivision.

SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for annexation
with zoning in the Industrial District, a Special Use for an indoor
recreation facility, approval of a Preliminary Plan and amendment
of Section 17 . 36 . 040 .H. 6 . of the Buffalo Grove Zoning Ordinance to
use a standard of one off-street parking space per 3.43 seats in an
indoor ice rink facility with the following variations: ZONING
ORDINANCE - Section 17 .48 .020 .F.5 .a. (to allow a building setback
of 35 feet instead of 50 feet along Weiland Road) ; DEVELOPMENT
ORDINANCE - Section 16.50 . 040 .C. (to waive the requirement for
underdrains in a stormwater basin) ; Section 16 .50.0040 .D. (to
allow a parking lot surface elevation to be less than one-foot
above the high water line of a stormwater facility) ; Section
16 . 50 . 150.B. 3. (to allow a pavement standard not in compliance
with ordinance standards) ; Section 16.50. 100 .C. (to waive the
requirement for streetlights along Weiland Road) ; Section
16 . 50 . 070 .D. (to allow a street pavement width of 37 feet instead
of 47 feet) ; Section 16 .50 . 030 .F. (to allow sidewalks on only one
side of a street) .
The Preliminary Plan proposes an indoor ice rink facility of 65, 716
square feet.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 7 .93-acre
tract on the east side of Weiland Road north of Abbott Court.
