SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for annexation
with zoning in the B-i Limited Retail District and Preliminary Plan
approval with the following variation: DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE -
Section 16.50.040.D. (to allow a structure to be built closer to a
stormwater detention basin than is allowed by the Village's
floodplain regulations) .
The Preliminary Plan proposes a children's day care facility of
approximately 8, 000 square feet, and a two-story office building of
approximately 7,400 square feet.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 1. 6 acre
tract at the southeast corner of Busch Road and Route 83 .
PROJECT NAME: Abbott Contractors, Child Daycare Facility and
Office Building
PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition by the Village of Buffalo Grove for an amended
Special Use authorization and Preliminary Plan approval in the R-4
(One-Family Dwelling) District to allow construction of a new
pumping station and related site improvements.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 5. 67-acre
tract on the east side of Arlington Heights Road north of Checker
Road and south of Knopf 's Cemetary.
