PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for amendment of the Special Use for Twin
Creeks Park, including approval of a Special Use and Preliminary Plan in the R-7 District for the
adjoining parcel owned by the Village of Buffalo Grove.
The Buffalo Grove Park District proposes to construct a parking lot on the undeveloped parcel west of the
Twin Creeks Park facility.The parking lot will be used to support activities at Twin Creeks Park,and the
design includes use of the parking area as an outdoor ice—skating rink in the winter.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The 1.35—acre parcel on Aptakisic Road west of
Twin Creeks Park, 401 Aptakisic Road.
