PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for approval of an amendment of a Planned
Unit Development(P.U.D.) in the B-3 District and rezoning of Parcel 2 (1250 Arlington Heights
Road) from the B-1 Limited Retail District to the B-3 Planned Business Center District and
approval of a Preliminary Plan with the following variations: ZONING ORDINANCE— Section
17.32.020.A. (to allow an accessory structure (trash enclosure) in the front yard along Arlington
Heights Road); Section 17. 44.040.D.4. (to allow a landscaped yard of 12 feet in width instead of
22 feet for a portion of the frontage along McHenry Road); DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE—
Section 16.50.040.C. (concerning design of the stormwater detention facility); Section
16.50.070.D.2.(to allow a right-of-way of 43 feet instead of 50 feet from the centerline of Arlington
Heights Road).
The petitioner proposes to construct a convenience store,car wash and new canopy for the gasoline
service facility.
