PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for amendment of a Planned Unit
Development(P.U.D.) and Preliminary Plan and approval of Special Use in the B-5 zoning district
with the following variation: ZONING ORDINANCE- Section 17.36.040 (to provide fewer parking
spaces than required by ordinance standards for a mixed-use commercial development.)
The petitioner proposes to construct a Burger King restaurant of approximately 2,900 square feet
with a drive-through service window and to modify the parking lot in the Phase 1 portion of the
Buffalo Grove Town Center shopping center.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The Phase 1 portion of the Buffalo
Grove Town Center shopping center on the west side of IL Route 83 south of Bank Lane.
