PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for rezoning from the Industrial District to
the Office and Research (O&R) District and approval of a Preliminary Plan with the following
variations: VILLAGE FLOODPLAIN REGULATIONS- Section 18.20.010.E. - (to allow a setback
of 50 feet instead of 100 feet from the centerline of Aptakisic Creek), and the LAKE COUNTY
WATERSHED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE-Article IV, Section B.1.i(1)(a)(I) - (to reduce the
linear buffer requirement from the Aptakisic Creek channel from 30 feet to 25 feet).
The petitioner proposes to construct a two-story office building of approximately 51,200 square feet
on Lot 3.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 7.93-acre tract at
the southeast corner of Weiland Road and Deerfield Parkway, including Lot 2 (2.19 acres) and
Lot 3 (5.74 acres).
