A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENTS TO THE LEGAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution
of 1970.
WHEREAS,from time to time,the Village requires legal representation on various matters; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.08 of the Municipal Code gives authority to the Village Manager to enter
into contracts for professional services; and
WHEREAS,the Village Board has determined that it is in the best interests of the Village to
authorize the Village Manager to renegotiate terms and execute amendments to the professional
services agreement for legal services
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
BUFFALO GROVE,COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,as follows:
SECTION 1. The Village Manager is hereby directed to renegotiate and execute amendments to the
agreement for professional services between the Village of Buffalo Grove and Schain Banks Kenny &
Schwartz LTD.
SECTION 2. If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Resolution shall be held invalid, the
invalidity thereof shall not affect any other provision of this Resolution.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval and
not be codified.
