RESOLUTION RATIFING THE EXPENDITURE OF GRANT FUNDING
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution
of 1970 and;
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove Police Department applied for and received funding
from the Department of Justice (DOJ)for a National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS)compliant
Record Management System;
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove desire to ratify
the expenditure of grant funds.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE,COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. The Village Board authorizes and directs the Village Manager to take all necessary steps to
ensure that DOJ Grant 2019-FU-CX-KO20 funding is expended.
Section„2. This Resolution shall be in full force and in effect from and after its passage and approval and
shall not be codified.
