A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTINGENT FEE AGREEMENT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BETWEEN AZAVAR AUDIT SOLUTIONS INC.
AND THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE TO PROVIDE
UTILITY AUDITING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Village has over time established ordinances and fees and entered into franchise
agreements,and;
WHEREAS,the Village is dedicated to fair and responsible tax administration,and;
WHEREAS,through the Village's Municipal Partnering efforts,Azavar submitted more favorable
terms to the Village of Buffalo Grove,the Village of Glenview,the Village of Northfield,and the Village
of Winnetka based on the commitment of all four communities by May 16,2012;
WHEREAS,Azavar will provide revenue sharing terms for both the utility and tax audits for
Buffalo Grove at 40%for 30 months based on the commitment of all four communities by May 16,2012.
Otherwise,Azavar will provide Buffalo Grove revenue sharing terms at 45%for 30 months;and
WHEREAS,the corporate authorities have determined that it is in the public interest to enter into a
contingent fee agreement for professional services,a copy of which is attached hereto,with Azavar Audit
Solutions,Inc. of Chicago,IL to conduct a tax and revenue audit and bring the results before the Board of
Trustees for final consideration.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE,COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,ILLINOIS that:
