A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENTS WITH SERVICE
PROVIDERS FOR BUFFALO GROVE DAYS AND THE FOURTH OF JULY
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo is a home rule unit pursuant to the Illinois Constitution of
1970; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board took steps that were in the best interests of public health and
canceled the Fourth of July Fireworks display and the Buffalo Grove Days event for calendar year 2020
WHEREAS,it is in the best interest of the Village to execute amendments with multiple Vendors
that supply goods and services for these events.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS,as follows:
SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are hereby adopted and incorporated and made a part of this
Resolution as if fully set forth herein.
SECTION 2.The Village Board authorizes the Village Manager to execute amendments hereto attached.
SECTION 3. If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Resolution shall be held invalid, the
invalidity thereof shall not affect any other provision of this Resolution.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
