I. Call to Order— 6:OOPM

Kristiansen—present

III. General Business
❑ Village of Buffalo Grove (Attorney Proposal)
❑ Trustee Kristiansen restated the conflict posed by the Village
❑ Several issues were discussed:
o Is Mr. Reimer on retainer? (Greenberg) Answer: No (Kristiansen)
o Mr. Kristiansen related that he was tendered a letter from Mr. Malinowski reference the
conflict
o Mr. Greenberg related that he was tendered a separate letter from Mr. Balling reference
the conflict
o Mr. Greenberg proposed that the board take the matter under advisement
o Mr. Kristiansen recommended that a survey of area law firms be completed to ascertain
their policy and practices with regards to accepting clients
o Mr. Greenberg stated that he would draft a letter with the board's response and forward it
to Mr. Eisenmenger for editing and forwarding to Mr. Balling and Mr. Malinowski
o Mr. Greenberg made a motion to adjourn.
