I. General Business
Stratford Investment Advisory Group
Forecast—Economy strong; GDP to be very strong 4 to 5 %. May be on the verge
of a downtrend within 2-4 quarters.
Expects the FED to raise rates one to two more times. The FED should definitely
raise rates .25 at the next FED meeting.
Mesirow Financial
Forecast—economy remains strong but signs of weakening
Next regular meeting scheduled for July 11, 2006
I. New Business
Trustees had a discussion regarding the funds performance and our current equity
exposure. Mr. Anderson confirmed that the fund has approximately 10% of its total
funds in equities. The board discussed the possibility of increasing our exposure in
equities to 20%. The board asked Mr. Busby to formulate an approach on how best
to effectively increase our exposure in equities.
Mr. Andersen advised that he could set up a meeting with representatives of the Oak
Brook Bank which the Buffalo Grove Fire Pension fund uses and is very please with.
Mr. Andersen was asked to set up the meeting sometime before the July pension
meeting. Trustees Kristiansen and Eisenmenger would attend and report on the
results at the meeting in July.
