ELECTRICAL COMMISSION
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
REGULAR MEETING
AUGUST 19, 1997
The meeting was called to order by Donald Stumbris,Ex-Officio Chairman,on Tuesday,August 19, 1997, at
8:17 p.m.,in the Park District offices at 530 Bernard Drive,Buffalo Grove,Illinois.
In attendance were: Greg Buss,Jr., Commissioner
Ron Hackett, Commissioner
Harold Kabb, Commissioner
Wayne Kowalski, Commissioner
John Mackey, Commissioner
Charles Hendricks,Trustee Liaison
Donald Stumbris,Ex-Officio Chairman
The minutes of the meeting of May 20, 1997,were read and approved.
The next meeting of the Electrical Commission will be held on Tuesday,November 18, 1997 in the Lower
Level,Village Hall.. A presentation by the Buffalo Grove Fire Department on Outdoor Disconnects will be
made at 6:30 P.M.; and at 7:00 P.M., a presentation on Plastic Piping and Flexible Conduit will be made by
Local 134 IBEW.
The electrical registration test was given to eight candidates. None passed..
Presentations were given to the Commission by Coleman Wise and Cable for code changes regarding MC
Cable and by Alean regarding code changes for the use of aluminum wiring. The Electrical Commission will
vote on the two changes at the November meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 P.M..
