ELECTRICAL COMMISSION
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
REGULAR MEETING
NOVEMBER 12,2002
The regular meeting of the Electrical Commission was called to order by Ronald Hackett,Ex-Officio
Chairman,on Tuesday,November 12,2002,at 6:30 P.M.,in the Buffalo Grove Village Hall,Lower Level, 50
Raupp Boulevard,Buffalo Grove,Illinois.
Roll Call
In attendance were: Greg Buss, Commissioner
Wayne Kowalski, Commissioner
George Laegeler, Commissioner
Harold Kabb,Commissioner
Ron Hackett,Ex-Officio Chairman
Absent: John Mackey, Commissioner
Chairman Hackett mentioned the benefits of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI). It
was suggested that it would be beneficial for Commission Members to join the association.
The Commission will begin looking at the 2002 Code in anticipation of adoption by Buffalo Grove.
Assignments were given to each member.
Chairman Hackett showed a number of products that were introduced at the Electrical Show at McCormick
Place.Discussion took place regarding a number of examples regarding specific device and circuit panel
wiring and interconnection which are often misunderstood.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:00P.M.
