ELECTRICAL COMMISSION
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
REGULAR MEETING
AUGUST 12, 2013
The meeting was called to order by Ronald Hackett, Ex-Officio Chairman, on Monday,
August 12, 2013 at 8:00 p.m., in the Alcott Center, 530 Bernard Drive, Buffalo Grove,
Illinois.
Roll Call
In attendance were: Greg Buss, Commissioner
Harold Kabb, Commissioner
Wayne Kowalski, Commissioner
Ron Hackett, Ex-Officio Chairman
Absent: George Koriath, Commissioner
The minutes of the November 12, 2012 regular meeting were read, as corrected, and
approved.
The minutes of the May 13, 2013 regular meeting were read and approved.
The Electrical Contractors Registration Examination was given to six (6) applicants. The
exam was graded. No one passed.
A discussion of the requirements for connecting and/or interconnecting recessed lights
and fluorescent fixtures was held based on the 2005 & 2014 NEC.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
