The meeting started at 7:30 PM
Tiffany from Life Source congratulated the commission for the great turn out in December, as
that is a very difficult time of year to get people to donate.

Life Source will be supplying cards which will be sent to donors, thanking them for their
donation.
Still looking for a new location to hold the September Blood Drive, Charles Johnson was going to
see about the Buffalo Grove Fitness Club. He was not present to give an update.
Discussed going to the Recognition Board to get the Boy and Girl Scout Troops that help with
the drives, awarded. Peggy indicated that she would get a contact person for that committee so
the arrangements could be made. John Welker indicated that he would work on this.
Will offer donuts or bagels to the department that gets the most donors, although to make it fair,
we will go by a percentage basis, due to the varying sizes of departments. Peggy will send out an
email to all Village employees to make them aware and post signs in each of the buildings.
Will also offer a $25 gift certificate to a local grocery store.
The next blood drive is scheduled for March 10 at the Alcott Center.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 22, 2001, 7:30 PM at the Police Department.
