LifeSource update:
LifeSource to make calls and send out postcards. It was discussed whether the email blast
and postcards should also be sent to addresses in the 60004 zip code.
Joanne is not sure what the technician issues were with the new Donor ID system at the

March 3 Drive. An overview of the Donor ID system was provided. LifeSource is also
promoting the DonorPass program where donors can register after 12:01 a.m. on the date
of the drive from their home, print the DonorPass and bring it with them to the drive.
DonorPass allows the donor to answer all the questions from the comfort of their home.
The posters were distributed.
The Brighten Lives program was reviewed.

The goal for the June 2 drive is 60. There were 58 units collected at the March 3, 2012
drive.
Joanne advised that St. Mary will be holding their drive two weeks prior to the June drive.

Promotions for the June 2 drive. There are no promotions through LifeSource. Jetts Pizzas
will be providing the pizza box coupons. Mike will arrange with Jetts Pizza.
Thank you cards—Julie will prepare and give to Debi to bring along with the bins.
Water billing—Julie advised that the reminders went out in the water bills.
Media advertising— Debi will forward the upcoming drive information to the Buffalo Grove
Patch, Daily Herald and Pioneer Press.

Cookies— Doug will call and Karleen will pick up.
Bagels— Kelly will call and pick up.
Green Bin — Debi will pick up the bins from Julie and bring.

Julie will remind the Village sign department to make sure that the signs placed out the
SI
Friday before (June 1 ).
A volunteer should be stationed in the hallway to direct donors to the correct place to check
in. With the new Donor ID program, the registration tables are no longer located in the
hallway.
Julie to provide a contact to Joanne for PNC Bank for follow up.
Possible promotion ideas for the upcoming September drive were discussed. Debi will
contact Steve Antman to see if he will be providing T-Shirts again for the September drive.
Joanne to look at a possible Bears player to attend the December drive.
