❖ Sign-Up for December 7, 2013 Blood Drive
Early: Arla, Kelly,Jinjin,
Late: Doug, Mike, Deb
Intermediate:Julie, Kareleen
Doug will follow up with Paige regarding having her daughter volunteer during the
intermediate time frame.
Julie to follow up with Kelly and Jinjin to verify they will be attending and ask Kelly to
arrange for the bagels from bagel bin.
❖ Dates for meetings and drives for 2014:
December 7, 2013 blood drive
February 12, 2014 meeting for the March 1, 2014 blood drive
May 14, 2014 meeting for the June 7, 2014 blood drive
August 13, 2014 meeting for the August 30, 2014 blood drive
November 12, 2014 meeting for the December 6, 2014 blood Drive
❖ Review tasks for Upcoming Drive
Cookies— Doug will call and Jinjin will pick up.
Bagels—Julie will check with Kelly to see if she can arrange for delivery of the bagels.
Green Bin —Arla will bring the bin and Julie will bring the Thank You cards, raffle boxes and
raffle tickets.
Newspapers—Arta will bring the newspapers.
Mike—call Jets Pizza and secure 70 pizza box coupons. Julie will pick up the pizza boxes. It
was determined that pizza will no longer be provided to the LifeSource staff.
Posters— Flyers—will be distributed once received.
Media — Debi to send out the press releases in the local newspapers. Julie will add the blood
drive information to both the E-News and the Police Blotter. A slide will be created to be
aired on Channel 6.
The new drive hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The theme for the December Drive is football. LifeSource will be providing a mini helmet
signed by Robbie Gould to be raffled off. American Enterprise Bank has donated $200.00 to
purchase Chicago Bears jersey's to be raffled. Julie has order jerseys for the following
players: Marshall, Tillman and Forte.
❖ LifeSource update:

The goal for the December 7 drive is 65. There were 77 units collected at last December's
drive.
LifeSource staffing was discussed.
Julie will send an email blast on the Wednesday before the drive.
Julie will have the blood drive announced at the December 2, 2013 Village Board meeting.
