Motion by Greenberg, second by Pervos. Motion carried.
Chair Report
✓ Linda reported that she has received excellent feedback from the Band performance —from
family members of musicians and from guests at and following the performance.
✓ Linda reported that she received a letter from Mr. Raymond Jagert, a Buffalo Grove resident
that praised the successful performance of the BG Symphonic Band. He also indicated that a
potential exists for our community to have a symphonic orchestra. It was agreed that Mr. Jagert
would be invited to attend the next meeting; although the Commission would not proceed with this
recommendation at this time.
Commissioner Reports

Band Board Report.
1) Jim reported that the band, the board, and the conductor are very grateful to the Village and
Arts Commission for helping to create the band —the premier performance was truly a "magical"
night.

homes in 2002.

The entries will however be kept on file and may be used for BG promotion. Ghida will follow-up
and send a letter to the most recent applicant.
