Motion carried.
Chair Report
1) Linda was pleased to announce a delightful performance on May 29 of the Woodlawn Middle
School Music Festival. The performance was held at the Rotary Village Green. Next year, it was
recommended that announcements be sent to the local schools very early in the school year in an
effort to promote another middle school music festival.
2) Gayle and Linda attended the Deerfield Art Festival as well as Amdur's Long Grove "Art
Makers". The latter was much smaller than BG's, but the festival was very nice. Deerfield's Art
Festival, coordinated by a parent of one of the students, was well attended as well and attracted
approximately 60 artists/booths.
3) Ghida, Robyn and Michelle attended the Arlington Heights Art Festival, coordinated by Amdur
Productions to benefit Northwest Community Healthcare. The weather was very cold and windy on
Saturday, although the layout of the site and the diversity of artists were good.
4) Michelle attended the Wells Street and Old Town Art Fairs this past weekend. There were
voluminous artists present; the artwork was very diverse.

since she was unable to attend the meeting.
