Blooming Buffalo Grove Sandy introduced Brian and Francie Paul, and their son Joshua, from Saving Tiny Hearts organization. The Pauls spoke about their son and the medical issues he faced at birth which inspired them to establish this organization. In five short years they have raised over $850,000 which is dedicated to research for Congenital Heart Defects. They were very grateful that the Arts Commission chose their organization to be the beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds from Blooming Buffalo Grove 2011. They will do all they can to assist us in marketing this event and also seek artists to help decorate the boxes and mirrors. It was suggested that we put a link on our Village website article about Blooming Buffalo Grove to their website. Fran reported that the Artists' League members took approximately 37 pieces to decorate at their last meeting. In addition, she and Sandy are contacting some of the artists that did the birdhouses last year to assist in this years' project. In addition to the boxes and mirrors, the committee will be holding a raffle for various baskets, food will be served and music will be played during the event.
