A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE
PERFORMANCE CONTRACT AGREEMENT
WITH
SIEMENS INDUSTRY, INC., BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES DIVISION
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois
Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, on December 18, 2014, the Village of Buffalo Grove entered into an
agreement ("Agreement") for performance contracting services with Siemens Industry, Inc.,
Building Technologies Division ("Siemens") which was approved by Village Resolution No.
2014-33; and,
WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that it is in the best interests of the
Village to authorize the Village Manager to modify certain terms of the Agreement with
Siemens to ensure completion of the performance contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COUNTIES OF COOK AND LAKE,
STATE OF ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION I The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated and made a part of this
Resolution.
SECTION 2. The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
attached Amendment to Village of Buffalo Grove and Siemens Industry, Inc., Building
Technologies Division Performance Contracting Agreement and to take all actions necessary
for its implementation.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
