RESOLUTION NO. 99- 54
RESOLUTION APPOINTING A DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE DELEGATE
TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, The Village of Buffalo Grove adopted the Contract and By-
Laws of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency by Ordinance and
thereby became a member of said cooperative; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that member units of local government
shall by majority vote of its corporate authorities select one (1) person to represent
that body on the Board of Directors of said Intergovernmental Agency;
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by CORPORATE AUTHORITIES,
of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, that Arthur A.
Malinowski, Director of Human Resources is hereby appointed to represent the
Village of Buffalo Grove on the Board of Directors of said Intergovernmental Risk
Management Agency commencing January 1, 2000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Brian Sheehan, Health Officer, of the
Village of Buffalo Grove is hereby selected as the alternative representative top
serve if Arthur A. Malinowski is unable to carry out his aforesaid duties as the
representative of the Village of Buffalo Grove to said Intergovernmental Agency.
