A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL
RESOURCES AND THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
CONCERNING THE ILLINOIS ROUTE 83 BIKEWAY OVERPASS
AT FARRINGTON DRIVE
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1998, Resolution No. 98 -36 entitled "A Resolution
Approving a Grant Agreement Between the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Village
of Buffalo Grove" was approved adopting an agreement entitled "Grant Agreement Between the
Department of Natural Resources and the Village of Buffalo Grove "; and,
WHEREAS, an amendment to this original agreement is required in order to ensure
the availability of IDNR funding during the upcoming year for the Illinois Route 83 Bikeway
Overpass at Farrington Drive Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, LAKE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
1. Amendment No. 1 to the agreement entitled "Grant Agreement Between the
Department of Natural Resources and the Village of Buffalo Grove" is hereby

LINE ITEM GRANT
AMENDMENT TO PROJECT AGREEMENT
This amendment to Project Agreement # 99 -GA041 is hereby made and agreed to by the State of Illinois,
Department of Natural Resources (DNR), and the Villagg of Buffalo Grove
pursuant to the authority granted under 201ZCS 805/63b2.9 which authorizes the DNR to make grants to other State
agencies, universities, not - for - profit organizations and local governments pursuant to an appropriation in the exercise of
its statutory powers and duties.
The Sponsor and the State of Illinois, in mutual consideration of the promises made herein and in the Project Agreement
of which this is an amendment, do promise as follows:
That the above mentioned Project Agreement is amended by adding the following: - -
Project completion date extended to June 30, 2000.
In all other respects the Project Agreement of which this is an amendment, and the plans and specifications relevant thereto,
shall remain in full force and effect. In witness whereof, the parties hereto have executed this amendment as of the date
entered below.
