RESOLUTION 99 -20
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING BRIAN N. RUBIN
FOR SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
WHEREAS, Brian N. Rubin has served the Village of Buffalo Grove unselfishly for the past 13
years, supporting and promoting both principals of good government and sound community development; and
WHEREAS, Brian's official assignments included serving on the Buffalo Grove Zoning Board of
Appeals; Buffalo Grove Plan Commission, serving as Village Treasurer, and, since 1991, serving as an
elected Trustee for Buffalo Grove; and
/I WHEREAS, during his tenure as Village Trustee, Brian has been a steward of sound planning, an
advocate for new facilities including the Metra Rail Facility and U.S. Post Office and a champion for
community enrichment programs including the formation of the Buffalo Grove Commission for Residents
with Disabilities; and
WHEREAS, Brian also has dedicated himself to civic and service involvement including service as a
Director of the Buffalo Grove 'Chamber of Commerce, an active member and Past President of the Buffalo
Grove Rotary, and support, involvement and leadership ux those organizations which support persons with
special needs; and
WHEREAS, Brian embodies the values and worn ethic of which we are all proud and grateful and he
has made a positive contribution to malting Buffalo Grove a better place.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE THAT:
1. Brian N. Rubin be commended for his service to Buffalo grove and enriching the

community; and;
2. This Resolution stand as a permanent record of the Village of Brian's achievement;
and;
3. Brian and his family are extended our sincere best wishes in his future endeavors.
