RESOLUTION 99- 2
ACKNOWLEDGING THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF
MAYOR JACQUELINE GORELL - VILLAGE OF SKOKIE
WHEREAS, Mayor Jacqueline Gorell has served as the Mayor of the Village of Skokie since
1989 and prior to that point, served as Village Trustee, a well as on the Plan Commission, Human
Relations Commission, Skokie Centennial Commission, Bicentennial Committee and the Mayoral Task
Force on Drug Abuse; and
WHEREA.S,Mayor Gorell has served with distinction in each of her assignments and has made
Skokie a better place to live,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE- OF BUFFALO GROVE, that:
1. Mayor Jacqueline Gorell be congratulated on her career in public service, and
2. That she be extended our best wishes "for the very best inner retirement.
