A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
TO THE BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT
(C ixtlots A and B in Mirielle Phase I - PINs: 15 -21- 210 -019 and 15- 21- 210 -012)
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is the owner of a certain parcel of real property
known as Outlots A and B in Mirielle Phase I;
WHEREAS, the Village has no immediate use for said real property;
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem it to be in the public interest to have said
property put to public use by deeding same to the Buffalo Grove Park District and their successors
in office for the use and benefit of the public; and
WHEREAS,the transferee, Buffalo Grove Park District, has by ordinance declared that
it is necessary, of convenient for it' to use, occupy or improve said real estate;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the authority granted to municipalities under the Local
Government Property Transfer Act (50 ILCS 605/1, etc.), the President and Clerk of the Village
of Buffalo Grove are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed conveying said Outlots A
and B to the Buffalo Grove Park District and their successors in office for the use and benefit of
the public, a copy of which deed is attached as Exhibit "A".
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
by two- thirds of the trustees then holding office.
