A RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN ALTERNATIVE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT AGENCY (IRMA)
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a member of the Intergovernmental
Risk Management Agency ( "IRMA ") and as such is a signatory to the Contract and
By -Laws of the cooperative; and
WHEREAS, said Contract provides that member units of local government shall
by majority vote o£ its Corporate Authorities appoint one (1) person to represent
that body on the Board of Directors of IRMA; and
WHEREAS, Phillip Versten, Administrative Assistant for the Village of
Buffalo Grove has previously been appointed to represent the Village of Buffalo
Grove on the Board of Directors of IRMA as an alternate representative for the
Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS the following:
Section 1. Brian Sheehan, Health Officer for the Village of Buffalo Grove,
is hereby appointed as the alternate representative effective April 6,
1998, to serve if William H. Brimm is unable to carry out his duties as
the representative of the Village of Buffalo Grove to IRMA.
Section 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to submit
a certified copy of this Resolution to the Risk Manager of the
Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as required by law.
