1997-04RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 4 C' 1/20/97 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE TOWN OF VERNON ( Outlot B in Edward Schwartz's Indian Creek, PIN: 15 -16 -104 -001) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is the owner of a certain parcel of real property known as Outlot B in Edward Schwartz's Indian Creek of Buffalo Grove; and WHEREAS, the Village has no immediate use for said real property; and WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem it to be in the public interest to have said property put to public use by deeding same to the Town of Vernon and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the public; and WHEREAS, the transferee, Town of Vernon, has by ordinance declared that it is necessary or convenient for it to use, occupy or improve said real estate; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Pursuant to the authority granted to municipalities in Chapter 50, Act 605 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (50 ILCS 605/1, etc.), the President and Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed conveying said Outlot B to the Town of Vernon and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the public, a copy of which deed is attached as Exhibit "A ". Section 2: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by two- thirds of the trustees then holding office.
