COMMENDING ALLEN ROSENSTON
FOR SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE AS A
PLAN COMMISSION MEMBER, 1988 -1997
WHEREAS, Allen Rosenston began his service to the Village as Plan Commission
member on June 6, 1988; and,
WHEREAS, Allen participated in the review of numerous projects, including high quality
�(> residential developments, important commercial, office and industrial proposals along with public
\ service uses that provide great benefits to'the residents of the community; and,

WHEREAS, Allen's tenure on the Commission "also included important input into the
revision of the Village` Comprehensive Plan as well as amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and
Development Ordinance, thereby cont4uting to the refinement of planning policies and standards
to properly guide the Village's growth and "development,,, and,'
WHEREAS, Allen's approach to planning issues was characterized by careful analysis of
pertinent facts, constructive suggestions to improve proposed plans, and fair and open discussion
with all petitioners and participants, with a focus on identifying solutions that would be in the best
interests of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, that the President and Village
Board commend Allen Rosenston for his excellent service to the community as a Plan
Commission member and express their sincere appreciation for the time and effort that Allen has
generously given to the community.
