A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR THE COMPLETION OF FINAL
DESIGN FOR THE BUSCH PARKWAY AND DEERFIELD PARKWAY INTERSECTION
IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the
Illinois Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, the Village Board desires to have the Busch Parkway and Deerfield
Parkway Intersection Improvement implemented; and,
WHEREAS, an agreement with a qualified engineering firm to provide for the
completion of the project's final design is necessary in order to proceed with the implementation of
the improvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS as follows:
Section 1: The agreement entitled, "Engineering Services Agreement- Contract Plan
Preparation Phase" (prepared on an IDOT BLR 4301 form) for the project described as the
"Busch/Deerfield Connector at Busch Parkway and Corporate Grove Drive" is hereby
approved.
Section 2: The Village Manager and Village Clerk are authorized and directed to execute
said agreement. A copy of said agreement is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 3: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
