A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTINENTAL CABLEVISION'S RESPONSE TO
THE NOVEMBER 30,1995 REQUEST FOR RENEWAL PROPOSAL
WHEREAS, the Village Board has authorized the Regional Cable Group to issue a Request for
Renewal Proposal with regard to the providing of cable television services to the citizens and residents
of the Village of Buffalo Grove; and
WHEREAS, Continental Cablevision was the only cable television provider that responded to
said Request for Renewal Proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Cable Group and its consultants have fully reviewed the response
provided by Continental Cablevision in comparison to the Request for Renewal Proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Cable Group and its consultants would recommend that the Village
of Buffalo Grove approve Continental Cablevision's response and provide authorization for the Regional
Cable Group to negotiate a Franchise Agreement for cable television services to the citizens and residents
of the Village of Buffalo Grove.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, that Continental
Cablevision's response to the November 30, 1995 Request for Renewal Proposal is hereby approved and
the Regional Cable Group is authorized to negotiate a Franchise Agreement for cable television services
to the citizens and residents of the Village of Buffalo Grove.
