RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 57
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING OUTGOING BUFFALO GROVE DAYS CHAIR CHERYL
WINSTEAD FOR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY, 1985 - 1995
WHEREAS, Ms. Cheryl Winstead has served on the Buffalo Grove Days Committee for the past eleven
years, and
WHEREAS, Cheryl Winstead has served as Chair of that Committee for the past five years, and
WHEREAS, the Buffalo Grove Days event over that time has grown in a number of ways, including: a
much expanded program for persons with disabilities, the designationof Monday as family day with no
alcohol and increased children's entertaiment, and steady improvement in its economic viability, and
WHEREAS, these achievements have trade the Buffalo Grove Days festival one of the betterfestivals in the
northwest suburbs, whilestill retaining a community flavor, and
WHEREAS, Cheryl Winstead will soon step down from her post as Chair of the Buffalo Grove Days
Committee.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF
BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS as follows:
2. That this resolution be presented to Ms. Winstead with gratitude and best wishes for her future
endeavors.
