RESOLUTION NO. 94- 23
CONCERNING THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE
BUFFALO GROVE TOWN CENTER
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove has recognized the importance of the
Buffalo Grove Town Center to succeed as planned to satisfy current and long range
objectives of the Village; and,
WHEREAS, Buffalo Grove Joint Venture, as owner of the Center, has expressed
an interest in redevelopment and further expansion of the Center to improve its operating
performance to include but not limited to anchor tenant acquisition, re- marketing, revised
signage and expanded leasing to achieve their objective; and,
WHEREAS, Buffalo Grove Joint Venture has indicated that they will maintain the
highest standards of facility maintenance and management practices if expansion and
redevelopment is approved; and,
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove has an immediate and long range interest
in the success of the Buffalo Grove Town Center; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Village of Buffalo Grove encourages Buffalo Grove Joint Venture to
quickly proceed with the development of planning proposals for at least
60,000 square feet of anchor tenant space for the Center. The Village of
Buffalo Grove is prepared to review expeditiously through its Plan
Commission redevelopment proposals for these anchors and will consider
appropriate zoning district amendments to accommodate anchor tenants.
2. The Village of Buffalo Grove approved Ordinance 94 -23 providing for the
construction of a four - screen movie theater, four - screen addition and south
outlot and encourages Buffalo Grove Joint Venture to proceed with final
plans and construction to assure the opening of the theater on or before
June 30, 1995.

3. The Village of Buffalo Grove encourages Buffalo Grove Joint Venture to
proceed with all necessary plans to provide additional roadway signage so
that the Buffalo Grove Appearance Commission can give this proposal
expeditious evaluation.
4. The Village of Buffalo Grove continues to extend its support to the
development and economic success of the Buffalo Grove Town Center.
