RESOLUTION NO. 93- 27
A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING CANVASS OF VOTE RETURNS
WHEREAS, on Tuesday, April 20, 1993, an election was held in the Village
of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, to elect three (3)
Village Trustees for four (4) year terms each; and
WHEREAS, there had been compliance with all applicable statutory
provisions governing said election including, but not by way of limitations,
notices, ballots, affidavits, judges of election, polling places and conduct
of elections; and
WHEREAS, the appointed judges were qualified, duly sworn, and conducted
the election pursuant to statute; and
WHEREAS, the judges delivered the election returns to the County Clerks
of Cook and Lake Counties who kept them in safe keeping until they delivered
same to the corporate authorities; and
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities duly canvassed said returns.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois that:
Upon a canvass of the returns of the aforesaid election results,
attached as Exhibit A to this Resolution, it is hereby affirmed that the
results are as follows
VILLAGE TRUSTEE - Charles Hendricks 2,101
Jeffrey Braiman 2,319
William Reid 2,158
IT IS FURTHER AFFIRMED, PROCLAIMED AND DECLARED that Charles Hendricks,
Jeffrey Braiman and William Reid are duly elected to the Office of Village
Trustees for a term of four (4) years each.
AYES: 6 - Marienthal, Reid, Kahn, Rubin, Braiman, Hendricks
NAYS: 0 - None
