RESOLUTION NO. 92- 43
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATED TO THE
DESIGN OF THE BUSCH ROAD BIKEWAY BETWEEN ILLINOIS ROUTE 83 AND BUFFALO GROVE
ROAD
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove desires to cause the
implementation of the construction of an eight (8) wide bikeway on the south
side of Busch Road extending from Illinois Route 83 to Buffalo Grove Road;
and,
-WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation has agreed to
incorporate the construction of this bikeway into the bidding documents which
they are currently preparing for the Illinois Route 83 (Buffalo Grove Road to
Arlington Height Road) Street Improvement provided that the Village completes
design documents related to the bikeway construction; and,
WHEREAS, consulting engineering services are required in order to
complete the necessary design documents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois
as follows:
1. The attached letter of agreement with Midwest Consulting Engineers,
Inc. /Dames & Moore Design Group dated October 16, 1992 related to
the Busch Road bike path from Illinois Route 83 to Buffalo Grove
Road is hereby approved.
