A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
FY 2009 THROUGH FY 2013
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a tool that will assist the Village in its future capital
implementation and financing strategies; and
WHEREAS, the CIP will cover a five -year period and is intended to be an annually updated, reviewed and
approved budgetary document allowing the Village Board maximum flexibility to modify, add or delete from the Plan on
an annual basis any and all projects not meeting the goals and objectives of the overall capital development strategies of
the Village; and
WHEREAS, pending final comments, the Plan for the period FY 2009 through FY 2013 can be considered for
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS that:
Section 1. The Capital Improvement Plan for the period covering FY 2009 through FY 2013 reviewed by the
President and Board of Trustees on Monday, October 20, 2008 is hereby approved with the understanding that
all projects identified herein shall further be singularly approved during their respective budget periods.
