2004-01• C RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 1 VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES REGARDING: Route: IL Route 22 Section: IL Route 83 to US Route 45/IL Route 21 County: Lake County Job No.: R -91- 005 -01 Parcel No.: 1DHO100 & TE WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove, a Municipal Corporation, is the fee owner of the real estate legally described in Exhibits "A" and `B" attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein and made a part hereof. and, WHEREAS, the State of Illinois desires to acquire from the Village of Buffalo Grove, a fee simple acquisition on and to the real estate described in Exhibit "A" and a temporary construction easement described in Exhibit `B" attached hereto for use of the Illinois Department of Transportation for highway purposes and has made an offer to the Village of Buffalo Grove in the amount of $7,000.00 as compensation for the permanent acquisition and $2,500.00 for the temporary construction easement therefore and it is the desire of the Village of Buffalo Grove to grant said fee simple and temporary easement interests. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the President and Village Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove are hereby authorized and directed to sell and convey the property described in Exhibit "A" by way of quit claim deed, and are authorized to grant the temporary easement over the property described in Exhibit "B" upon terms and for consideration consistent with this Resolution and they are further authorized to execute and deliver such instruments and documents as may be necessary and convenient in their sole discretion to effectuate such sale and grant.
