2003-314/30/03 RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 31 A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT (Twin Creeks Park, 401 Aptakisic Road) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is the owner of a certain parcel of real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof; and, WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem it to be in the public interest to deed said property to the Buffalo Grove Park District and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the public as a park; and, WHEREAS, the Park District has declared by ordinance that it is necessary and convenient for it to use, occupy and improve said real estate for public park purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: Section l: Pursuant to the authority granted municipalities by 50 ILCS 605 /.01 through 605 /3, the President and Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove are hereby authorized and directed to execute said deed to the Buffalo Grove Park District and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the public, a copy of which deed is attached as Exhibit "A." Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by two- thirds of the trustees then holding office.
