RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 3 7
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING OUTGOING BUFFALO GROVE DAYS COMMITTEE CO -CHAIR
DEAN HOELTING FOR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY 1995 -2002
WHEREAS, Dean Hoelting has served on the Buffalo Grove Days Committee for the past 7 years, and;
WHEREAS, Dean has served as Co-Chair of that Committee with primary responsibility for site logistics
and event support; and
WHEREAS, the Buffalo Grove Days event over the time of Dean's participation has continued to grow in a
number of ways, including a much expanded program for people with disabilities, the further designation of Monday
as a family day with no alcohol sales, expanded cooperation and interaction with the Buffalo Grove Chamber of
Commerce to enhance the event, increased children's and young:, adult entertainment, expanded fireworks display
along with an improved economic viability for the event; and
WHEREAS, these achievements continue to make the Buffalo Grovo Day festival one of the best festivals
in the northwest suburbs, all the while retaining a community flavor;rand
WHEREAS, Dean will soon step down from his post as Co-chair of the Buffalo Grove Days Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY.:THE ,PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE ;CQUNTIES, ILLINOIS as follows:

1. That Dean Hoelting , be commended: on behalf of� the citizens of Buffalo Grove for his exemplary
service to the Village:
2. That this Resolution be presented to Dean with gratitude and best wishes for his future endeavors.
